So I'm looking at purchasing a fifth wheel but there is one problem I have with all of the ones I've seen. I'm not a fan of the bunk rooms. I was looking for a fifth wheel that had a master bedroom and a second bedroom that didn't have bunk beds. I have looked all over the place, maybe I'm just blind but I couldn't find anything like that. Is that even an option or am I just going to be stuck with the bunk beds?

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks.

Find a model you like and call the manufacturer. You might be able to custom order a unit without the bunk beds. We are currently looking at Cedar Creek and do not like the furniture or kitchen table. Called the factory and said we can delete these and put our own in. Good luck.

Take a look at the 2015 Chaparral 360IBL for the same reason.

Our fiver has a master and a separate second bedroom in the rear... it is on a slideout with a sofa that makes into a queen bed and has its own 1/2 bath. However, it does also have a loft above that second bedroom with actual stairs to reach it, but the unit is still at full height at the rear (it does not slope downward at the rear like other models), so height is not an issue. This has worked very well for us.

Could be the year that you are looking at. The newer ones, say in 2012 and newer, there are lots of floor plans that have recliners and living areas in the rear rather than bunkhouses.

I know, as I am looking for just the opposite!!

Older 5th wheels typically will have a bedroom and the sofa will convert into a sleeper.
There are newer models with a two bedroom setup usually in a 36ft long or longer 5th wheel.

Many of the toyhauler 5th wheels have rear beds that lower from the ceiling to create a bedroom in the garage area. These beds also fold into a couch like seat (kind of like a futon does) that allows the area to be used as a living room when not a garage or bedroom.

So the ultimate answer to your question is yes. Keep looking you'll find them.
