Old Decal Removal

Does anybody have some ideas on how to easily remove old decals and adhesive from an aluminum FW? My trailer is a 2002 model and it has some old faded and cracked decals I'd like to take off. I wondered about giving this a shot:

Anybody ever try it or have any other ideas?

I don't think using a pressure washer on aluminum siding would be a good idea. Water will wash up through the lap seams.

Hair dryer or heat gun. Low heat with the heat gun & careful peeling does it.

I used one of those. The comment about a cordless drill right on.

I used a 3M eraser wheel to remove decals from my fiberglass 5er. Worked fine, but you need a good drill as it works it pretty hard. Don't think a cordless would work well.

Tried a heat gun and plastic scraper first. Eraser wheel was easier.

I've used a heat gun to remove them from snowmachine trailers. We bought a trailer that had Polaris decals on it..........

Most are concerned about keeping decals on. 🙂

I agree with Bumpy, try a pressure washer. That should remove most or all of the decal, if not try a mild abrasive like Bar Keepers Friend. Then, hit it with the pressure washer again.
