Does anybody have some ideas on how to easily remove old decals and adhesive from an aluminum FW? My trailer is a 2002 model and it has some old faded and cracked decals I'd like to take off. I wondered about giving this a shot:
I used a 3M eraser wheel to remove decals from my fiberglass 5er. Worked fine, but you need a good drill as it works it pretty hard. Don't think a cordless would work well.
Tried a heat gun and plastic scraper first. Eraser wheel was easier.
I've used a heat gun to remove them from snowmachine trailers. We bought a trailer that had Polaris decals on it..........

Nodwell RN110 out moose hunting. 4-53 Detroit, Clark 5 spd, 40" wide tracks, 10:00x20 tires, 16,000# capacity, 22,000# weight. You know the mud is getting deep when it's coming in the doors.
I agree with Bumpy, try a pressure washer. That should remove most or all of the decal, if not try a mild abrasive like Bar Keepers Friend. Then, hit it with the pressure washer again.
