Pledge
I just talked to a full timer and he said he uses Pledge on his 5th wheel slide seals and awnings. Anyone else heard of this or do it ?

I sure do remember that! Made them look great! Also remember that Transmission fluid was the "Tire Black" of that time!
Also remember buying a white letter paint stick for the tires!

- Pledge, we used it on our molded plastic snowmobile hoods. Made them nice and shiny.
- Its an old sprint car trick. Keeps the mud off the cars. Makes clean up a snap!

- I started using baby powder and an old sock...
I now use pledge, or dollar store generic furniture polish..
