Plumbing-Toliet Leak

My Dometic Model 310 has a small leak at the base. I'm thinking it's the flange gasket, which means I should remove the "throne" and replace the gasket. Just not looking forward to that task but if I must ...

I've put a wrench on the two bolts and they are already snug and I know they shouldn't be overtightened. The base is already touching the floor.

Any thoughts ... ?
  • My floor gasket was not put on right from the factory. Took me too long to figure out why the wife was dumping all the deodorant in the tank and how come my feet seemed to want to stick to the floor. :R
  • Thanks everyone for the help and for the manual. For sure I'll check out the fresh water side first before I "go below".
  • I can relate to you there. The first time I went to use the "Throne" I got it on my feet. At first I thought it was me mis-aiming... It was not..

It was an east fix. Just make sure you empty and flush out the tank first...
  • Could it be actually dripping from the valve onto the base? If so, that's an easier fix with even how to videos online. We just had to do that. Originally we thought we had to remove he entire toilet but didn't have to.
