Prime Time Spartan Question(s)

the DW and I are looking to upgrade our 2012 Voltage 3200 to the current version of the 3200 but we were informed that it is no longer in production. This has us now seriously considering our second choice of the Spartan 1032. This leads us to a couple of questions for anyone who has a 1032 and would not mind us asking questions. Here are what we have at this time.

1-there is no pantry on the floor plans, where does one keep the can goods etc? we have a pantry in the current Voltage and it is great.
2-when the main room slide is in, is there access to the refrig, etc?
3-has anyone changed out the OEM sofa? DW has a bad back and the sofa we tested was too soft.
4-how was the fit and finish?
5-were here many or only a few items that the dealer had to repair after the PDI?

Sorry I have not been on the forum in a week. I am the owner of a 2015 Spartan 1032. Here are the answers to your questions if you didn't find out from anyone else already:
1. There is a slide out pantry next to the frig.
2. Yes you can access the frig with main slide in through the rear door going in to the garage.
3. No, sofa is fine for us.
4. Fit & finish was good. Just a couple minor things that the dealer took care of under warranty.
5. Very few items needed repair after PDI.
Our Spartan has been very good so far after 2 years of use. The tires that come standard are Towmax aka Blowmax. I replaced them last year with GY G614's & sold the original blowmax's. The brown nose cap started fading at the top. I found this to be a common complaint of Forest River RV's with dark caps. After it being out of warranty by almost a year, Primetime has authorized the dealer to paint the nose cap under warranty which is due to be done in 2 weeks. I love my 1032 but most likely will not get another 5th wheel with a dark cap due to the heat it attracts. I always try to park with the nose facing north if possible in the BLM & NFS places we like to camp. I have had quite a few people tell me they wish they had looked at Spartan's after looking at mine and I would definitely buy another when it is time to move up.

Thanks, they are what I found and sent a couple of private messages, but no response. After having 3 TH's now, I think we know what we are looking for and the standard Spartan 1032 is a duplicate of our Voltage 3200 with all the upgrades we either put on ourselves or want in the next TH. Will probably get it later this year.

Thanks y-guy for all your help on this forum.

Or there are just not that many owners or people are off camping 🙂

I ran a search, here which sort of confirmed my thought that there are not that many owners. You might see if anyone in that list has the unit you are considering and drop them a message.

Well I guess that are no Spartan owners on the site or they just are not interested in helping out a potential Spartan owner.
