Protect All Product instead of wax

I waxed our 5th wheel this summer, but now winter months are approaching,
so I'm thinking on applying Protect All to the exterior of the 5th wheel to protect
against UV oxidation. I have not used this product so I'm wondering if it is a good
product instead of applying another coat of wax. Has anyone used Protect All
and does it work well in preventing oxidation and how long does it last and has
to be reapplied.

Appreciate your feedback
  • Protect All is a great all purpose wax, but it don't last long, I use it on my Harley Davidson all the time, but nothing else I own.
  • I use Protect All on my 5th wheel (full body paint) on everything top to bottom including the windows and it does a wonderful job. I also use it on my F350 inside and out on everything including the leather seats.
  • Like other's I use Nu Finish once a year to wax it and Protect All to maintain it during the year. The neat thing about Protect All is you can use it on glass and rubber as well.
  • OP
I do a full wax every year (usually in the fall when it's cooler and low humidity) and use the Protect All in between (like 2-3 times) with general washes when needed with a good wash/wax soap. This has provided me excellent results. The Protect All is a good product IMO to help out with shine and UV protectant throughout the year.
  • I've used it and consider it a good product. As good as any, and I have tried many products that are easy to apply and remove. Not expensive, give it a try.
  • To your oxidation question...I use it on the front cap after every long trip. No oxidation at all, there or anywhere else.
  • I've been using it for many years on vehicles and camper. Easy to use, and does a great job. I believe it contains some wax, but it is much more than wax alone. Two, maybe three times a year and things stay looking good.
  • Protect All is a good product. To use in place of wax, not so much. A better easy to use product is Nu-Finish polish. I do use Protect All on plastic RV parts, such as fenders, tail lights, and even my black AC cover. It works well on my truck tonneau cover too.
