Remove gas from Voltage 5th’r gen. Gas tank

Have my 2012 Voltage in the shop. One of the things I had a issue with was the Onan Gen. My repair guy says there seems to be a lot of water coming through and it needs to be drained. He can’t do it because of regulations at his home. Is this something I can do? Thanks
