Removing the water heater in Alfa See YA

My water heater is below and to the left of our entry door. It's in a 2006 Afla SGF38RLES. I believe one of the connections is dripping. There is no rear access or panel under the unit that I can see. Do you just remove the mounting screws on the front of the unit and slide it out to access the rear?

I have an '06 36RLIK Alfa SeeYa Gold and several experiences with the 10 gal Atwood water heater. I will lend you some.
If you see drips underneath and the source is not from what you can see from opening the heater panel, then 99% likely it is coming from the rear. The aluminum tank DOES NOT leak (normally). You have to crawl underneath and remove a plastic cover (boxlike) to see the backside. For my model this is in the spare tire well.

The connections are input (lower) and output hot (higher). One of those will be leaking, if not the PEC plumbing leading up to it. Take a look and let me know what is happening.
In the meantime I can tell you high water pressure can have a deleterious affect. Be sure to use a pressure regulator. The unregulated (up to 140 degrees) heat of the Atwood can warm up the plastic nipples attached to the input and output to a point they will swell and eventually leak.

The water connections are in the back. If you are seeing a leak in the front then it is not the water connections. It could be the pressure release or even the anode. Either could be fixed without removing the heater.

Have you crawled underneath and looked for an 'access panel'?
