RV Motorhome or trailer ????

I have fifth wheel. In attempting to make reservations at the government’s recreation.com site I have the option to choose if I have a trailer or RV motorhome. See picture below. Which one should I choose?

Please give me enough troubles, uncertainty, problems, obstacles and STRESS so that I do not become arrogant, proud, and smug in my own abilities, and enough blessings and good times that I realize that someone else is in charge of my life.

OTR truck drivers almost universally call any RV a "camper".
Doesn't seem to matter if it is a small pop-up or a million+ dollar motorhome, they are all "campers" to them. :B

I've noticed it too. All RV's are, well, RV's. A FW by definition is a trailer. MH is a no brainer but a MH is also an RV. But whoever they hired to build the website obviously has no clue about RV's and whoever gave them the requirements for the drop downs fields doesn't either. See it all the time in outsourced development.

Does your 5th wheel have a "motor" driving the wheels?
Or does it "trail" behind your truck?

It's a trailer.

PS: never heard anyone refer to a trailer as a motorhome. A camper is basically the same as RV...if you go camping in it, it's a camper (occasionally you will get someone pedantic who says camping is only in a tent but camper is still a commonly used term for most RVs).

With some reservations I've noticed that many time when the campground separates motorhome and towed camper sites, the "motorhome" sites are 50amp full hookup sites, usually pull through.

Not always, but enough times to notice that.

And usually there is no problem with someone camping with a different camper than what is listed for the campsites.

I've heard people refer to a motor home or trailer as a "camper", but I've never heard anyone call a trailer a "motor home".

I seem to recall some COE campgrounds with a handful of pull in sites, so I could see it possibly mattering in those cases. But overall as long as you can fit your RV/Motorhome/Trailer/Tow Vehicle etc on the site and meet the requirements for number of camping units allowed, I don’t think it matters.

I noticed the same thing this summer and I came to the conclusion that it makes no difference. I finally settled on RV but getting to that point I selected both at one time or another. Selecting tent may make a difference, or boat there are COE parks that allow boat camping, I don't know about horse tho.
