- crickeydogExplorerYou can make an anchor quite easilly out of a piece of metal bent 90 degrees. Screw one side of the metal to the floor and the other side into the washer.
Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!:) - lakeside013104ExplorerThank you crickeydog. I was trying to make this too difficult.
Great idea.
Lakeside - JOHNLExplorerMY hold downs came with washer
- GemstoneExplorerI went over the top and down thru the floor with 2 cargo straps. The ratchet and an eye were welded to the metal frame under the closet floor. Neither the washer nor stacked dryer have moved in 7 years.

Gemstone - GsportExplorerI'm having a washer/dryer installed in 4 weeks, CW told me they don't anchor it. Hmmmm?
- Michelle_SExplorer IIIWe have a Splendide and got them direct from them. Slips over the front feet and then screws to the floor.

CW in North Conway, NH did mine. They installed the Splendide hold downs. But I ordered them from Splendide and brought them to CW when they started the install. They had no problem with that. Their installer hadn't seen them before. They had no information that would let them order them. - Atom_AntExplorerGot mine from Splendide when ours stacked. Now that we have them side by side in this rig, I never put the holdowns on.
- 48fordExplorerIf I got DW a washer for Christmas, I would be stuck in there to hold it down. ;)
- buckyExplorer III'm leery of something as big as a W/D being loose in our 5er. In the wrong circumstance it could come thru the front cap or the side wall and make matters worse.
