When ours were stacked in our Montana in a closet, I installed them front and back (pre-mounted in back then slid the washer into them) because some of the folks had problems with them tipping and breaking the closet door on acceleration.
They are in a slide in the hall now side by side, and they aren't going anywhere. They sit in a recessed place in the floor and no where for them to go. - jnharleyExplorerOurs is also not anchored and no issues. We did have a drain pan installed with a drain out the bottom of the RV in case of an overflow. Our units are stacked in a closet on the curb side of the RV.

Ours hasn't been anchored down since we got it in 2004. Never even thought of anchoring it down. - buckyExplorer III'm leery of something as big as a W/D being loose in our 5er. In the wrong circumstance it could come thru the front cap or the side wall and make matters worse.
- 48fordExplorerIf I got DW a washer for Christmas, I would be stuck in there to hold it down. ;)
- Atom_AntExplorerGot mine from Splendide when ours stacked. Now that we have them side by side in this rig, I never put the holdowns on.

CW in North Conway, NH did mine. They installed the Splendide hold downs. But I ordered them from Splendide and brought them to CW when they started the install. They had no problem with that. Their installer hadn't seen them before. They had no information that would let them order them. - Michelle_SExplorer IIIWe have a Splendide and got them direct from them. Slips over the front feet and then screws to the floor.
