Just for info I ordered set SAILUN 637 G load tires for friend and this size is almost identical in diameter size of the GOODYEAR 614. 30.7 inches so good option to consider

X2 wasting your time if not balanced lug-centric or use balance beads which I recommend

New development, and, it's a scary one for me.

My tire guy called to let me know that he was not able to balance two of the tire/wheels. He is unsure why exactly.

I have to call the company today to see if they'll send me two others. c r a p~on~a~cracker!

Not sure they'll do it, but, I have them charged and I "think" if need be, I can dispute this if they aren't going to work with me on it. I know, I'm crossing a bridge before getting to it, but, can you imagine my worry right now?

I am a totally satisfied with them. Every bit as good as the Goodyear. But almost 1/2 the price.

Well there's nothing wrong with that.

Sounds like you did your homework and I hope your tires are truly trouble free. I'm in the same boat with a new '16 camper and will be putting on some better quality tires in the very near future.

What I went on was a lot of researching reviews from real people. If these don't work out, I for sure will come back here to report, either way actually.

I was going to go with the Goodyears originally, but, after seeing that people were happy with these, I thought it was worth a try. I'm excited to get these on the trailer sometime soon.

Thanks to all for the info and conversation. Much appreciated.

They said they will be here Monday. I was thrown for a loop though when they asked which commercial business would I want them sent to since they don't ship to homes, unless you want to pay a gazillion dollars!

I was happy when a local tire place said I could send them there and have them balanced.

Which leads me to this question, why does everyone ask me if I even want them balanced. Wouldn't I want them balanced? I've had more people say that for a trailer.

But, I'm really happy that I came across this and thank you for your helpful review. I found that there were pretty good reviews on these online and finally was able to breath a sigh of relief of which ones to get and that I also went with 110 psi over the 80 that I think are on there now.

Takata is also ISO certified and look at their quality. An ISO certification does not guarantee a quality product so don't get caught up on the cert mounted in the factory's lobby for everyone to see. And yes I run a manufacturing department and get ISO audited every November since '94.

Just read back on some of the posts.

First, I'm a she, not a he, not that that makes a hill of beans difference. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The other thing is, they do NOT send to a residential place, has to be a commercial place. If you have your own business, or know of someone who does and they accept deliveries such as this, you're in like Flynn. I do not, so, I was extremely lucky that my local tire company would accept these, but, to do so I had them balance them for $12 each. I'm good with that.

I have not seen them yet. They were supposed to be delivered yesterday, I have not called to see about that yet since I know they are busy and didn't want to bother them. They asked if I was in a hurry to have them, and, I told them no. I'm hoping though that within a week I'll get a call, and when that happens, I will take pic's and show you.

I got steel wheels. I didn't care what the color or the shape in the middle was. I chose not to get aluminum, although that was a choice they gave me.

I will follow up with pics when I am able.

It looks like my credit card was charged $889 for FIVE tires WITH wheels. That was about $79 shipping included I guess. They are arriving today at the garage I had them sent to. With the shipping in there they come out to be $178 a piece, and that's with the wheels too of course.

I can see the tires being $178 each , but with wheels, is that just a misquote. If not would like to see a picture of the wheels for that price.
Yeah, that is way cheap. I think I paid that much per tire when I bought my Sailun tires. I just looked and I paid $1100 for 6 Sailun S637 tires 2 years ago. So that is one amazing deal.

5 Sailun at Simpletire.com was under $630 last I looked, and he stated he got a better deal than at Simpletire.com

I am also curious about the wheels.

For $889 I would buy all Five new tires and wheels and install myself.
I like to think I would get more on Craigslist for my tires with wheels attached.

I was thinking if they got delivered mounted I would not have to deal with a tire dealer.

I could have them delivered install them, put my old set on craigslist.

Which wheels did you pick?

Found them on Simple Tire and that's great they send to your home. Thanks. They were a better deal from the place I got them if you want to check them out next time for yourself.

Did you have to call them to get a price? Can't find a link for price.

It also shows a weight rating of 3750. Mine were 4080.

Thanks

That's the only way to order them, call. Kind of a hassle to be sure.

Didn't notice the difference in weight rating. Are yours the same? Mine are the ST235/85R16 load rating G. I don't have to have the extra weight though since I think, with horses, my lq 3 horse trailer will be under 12,000. More than likely it'll be around 10,000.

Same tires I have. Let us know what they say on the side when you get them. For some reason the weight rating varies on different sites.

I think the difference in rating was based on application of single vs. dual? A lot of gooseneck and flat decks use these in dual situation. Perhaps?

I have never ordered tires and wheels.
So, I am wondering. Do the tires and wheels come separately, or are the tires mounted on the wheels?
