Has anyone purchased and used Sailun S637 tires? They come in sizes for 16 and 17.5" rims (and bigger). I'm planning new tires and rims this year and I'm sure my wife would like to stop hearing me say "how do your tires look?" on every other right hand corner.Trying to operate on a budget that would NOT fit the Goodyear 614's at $320 each (plus rim puts me close to $3k). The big drawback of a triple axle with spare is 7 of everything.Trailer is 11-12k loaded, triple axle driven on twisty mountain roads probably 15-20 weekends a year. Plenty of clearance with flipped axles and roughly 6-7" between tires so bigger diameter is OK, can't go wider than the 235 though.If you propose something else without answering my question the tire price needs to be under or very close to $200. Not looking to start a tire war and I know what the gold standard is. And yes, I don't buy the most expensive helmets either because I do have a $300 head. :)Thanks everyone.

I put them on my triple axle toyhauler 2 years ago and am very happy with them. I haven't put a lot of miles on them so I'm not a great source, but the Carlisle ST tires I had before didn't last much more than 2 years, so I'm already ahead of the game. :) Good looking tire with very stiff sidewalls. All in all, a very solid tire. IMO of course. FWIW they do say "For Trailer Use Only" on the sidewall.

I had a set on a class A for four years, until it was traded. No problems and they were much cheaper. I would purchase again.

Sailun was established in 2002 in Qingdao, China.When I bought new tires I priced Goodyear, Michelin and Hankook. Comments about the Hankook here was very good and price beat the other two. I had mixed feelings about buying a Korean tire, but at some point money talks. I've never heard of Sailun so they wouldn't be high on my radar.

Granted mine are on a MH, but have had no problems with the S737 I put on it and would not hesitate to put Sailuns on a trailer, pickup, or car.

Have had them for 3 years on my triple axle, like them as much as my old Goodyears, as a former Big O Tire dealer, I will tell you you can get them thru any Big O Tire store at very reasonable prices, PM me if you have questions

We just had Sailun tires installed on our new to us (used) trailer. Drove from Utah to California on them. We researched and read all the reviews we could find. We are happy with them.

I just put some S637 on my trailer a couple weeks ago to give me some piece of mind over the stock tires that came on it. I got 2 years out of them and I felt I had pushed my luck far enough. Great reviews on the tires so far drove me to try them over the G614's Plus my local Big O sells them for $159 a tire. My rims were rated for 110 psi so no worries there.

These tires came from the Factory on my Fuzion 371. So far I am really impressed with the tires. They are holding up really well and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them. All the reports on the Keystone forum are good as well for this tire.

I bought 7 of them for our three axle TH...the factory tires developed a sidewall bulge while traveling through some twisty mountain roads, possibly from flexing the weak side walls. I put these on at the advice of some on the Dutchmen forum and have not looked back. I run mine at 100psi since I only have 15k on the three axles, plus, the idiot tire shop cheaper out on the valve stems, only rated to 100psi. Will get them replaced one day.

We have about 2k miles on the tires, they are quite heavy, but the whole carccas is steel. Hope you enjoy.

Had it been Goodyear, well, there are already 100's of posts where people say they love those.

None of these replies are driving me to look elsewhere. Certainly better than buying more Carlisle's which two of the major tire centers are pushing and which fail with what I consider an unacceptable rate.

Close it if you like, I got what I wanted and asked them to refrain from the back and forth garbage about who is right or wrong.

Your rim dealer misinformed you. You need to find one that knows of what he speaks. The pressure/weight the rim is rated to is on the back side.
