Sandpiper

Anybody have one? How is the quality?? We are looking at a 372LOK to move up from our current TT a Jayco 23MBH.
  • We have a 2013 and it's been great! We are in the process of looking at a new Reflection by Grand Design FW... I would love another Sandpiper but we want to down size and they just don't make one small enough.
  • we had a 2005 sandpiper 335rlt, never had one problem with it. We used it also, 7000 mile trip out west and back in 2011. Traded it in on the CC last Nov
  • I've had two brand new Sandpipers and no real issues to speak of other than FR replaced the 6k axles with 7k as they should've been from the factory. In April, we took delivery of a new Montana and have been dealing with warranty issues and a broken weld in the pin box. I wish I had my Sandpipers back!
  • We're on our second Sandpiper/Sierra and have had no major issues. The biggest issues we've had was a hydraulic solenoid valve on 366FL that took a bit of time to figure out and the main A/C on our 2015 360PDEK went out, Dometic sent a mobile tech under warranty to fix. Also, on our 360PDEK the water tank fell out but FR quickly took ownership of the issue and sent a factory tech to my dealer with a new tank, mounting hardware and underbelly material.

Other than those issues we've been very pleased with our units and wouldn't hesitate to purchase one.
