Seams in shower stalls...any problems?

How do the showers with seams hold up? Does it tend to get moldy in the seams and cause water to leak out into the walls?
  • Yes, they require some attention - but not so much that I'd call it a problem. I spent an hour running a fresh bead of caulk around the seams - which would be a good idea with any new rig. In the end, got the shower we wanted w/ just a little work to make sure of no leaks.
  • I like our current one-piece shower way better than the "seam" design on our previous RV's shower - the caulk didn't really stick too well in the seams.
  • Mookie,

Are you looking for a new trailer also? In my searches I have noticed that some manufacturers use a one piece shower that personally I like. I believe it to be the same or close to the same material used in home showers.
