Your slide has at least one adjustment rail that connects to the motor. You can see it when the slide is extended. I had to make some adjustment to mine earlier this year. The locking nuts had gotten loose and you would not get the clicking noise when fully open or closed. It took several trials to get it back in adjustment. I am not sure if this your problem, but could be.
