Slide topper tensioning

I'm looking for some instruction on tightening up one of my slide toppers. It has loosened up a bit and will pool some during a rain. I just need to take out the slack on it, but have not found anything on youtube for DIYs. Thanks for your assistance.

Do you mean unbolt the bracket and without unhooking the awning and turn the whole bracket a turn or two? Each end or just one end?
I need to retension mine and as it is long pass warranty will need to do myself. Thanks, John

No hassle at all and would not be without slide toppers.

Have you done it yourself? I know you said that the warranty covered your current rig. I would like someone w/ actual experience to five some advice.

No, I haven't done it myself and don't know what's involved.

My comment was to get it fixed while still under warranty.

Could you expand on that? Have you re-tensioned them yourself, or had it done? Could you give an overview, just a quick sketch perhaps?

I've thought about doing the one on our big slide but it hasn't been enough of an issue to mess with it. I have been watching this thread to see if it is as much of a hassle as I think it would be.

Nobody ever tighten up their slide toppers? I can't believe I haven't gotten any first hand advice.

We have our door slide topper where the forward fabric has slid.

Still in warranty (Jayco 2 year warranty) and will have it adjusted.
