Slide toppers
Have a new 35Z Northwood AF with slide toppers. How do you keep the slide toppers clean? Mine unit is 4 months old and one topper is filthy.
Thanks Ron

I installed the cheapest Carefree topper on our last TT and it held up great for 13 years. It was much better made and heavier than this one. Even the tube was bigger and heavier.
The cheapo version looks like this:
They also did a lousy job of installing them. They have almost no pitch.

Scott can have his opinion, but I would not be without toppers. Mine are "after market" (CW) and I have no quarrel with the quality after seven years.
I clean them when I do the roof (infrequently) using soapy water applied with a toilet brush and then hosed off.

No argument, S/O covers in general are will worth having but these are not the same quality you will get from CW or any other vendor.
If I had it to do over, I would have skipped ordering them with the trailer and installed "aftermarket".
I would have had a much better product.
Interesting, I was not aware that Carefree makes a cheaper version strictly for the OEM's. The Dometic toppers factory installed on our Rockwood are the same exact toppers and part numbers availible anywhere.
