It is impossible for a Pullrite hitch to move while traveling ether forward or reverse unless the vehicle is turning because the hitch movement is controlled by a cam that moves the hitch forward during the turn and back when the vehicle straightens. If you are concerned, get another opinion from other dealers. This is like saying he won't sell you a 5th-wheel hitch because there are reports of owners moving the truck without checking to see if the hitch was secure.
