Slider Window help

Hi,

I am having a piece of glass made for my window in the rear of my 2008 WW CR3705 toy hauler. The window dimensions of each pane is approx L -28 x H -23".

The broken one is the slider portion and fortunately I found a place that will make the window out of tempered glass. I have never pulled out the slider on one of these and have been looking at the window trying to figure out how much of it to disassemble to pop the new window in once I have it made.

Can anyone offer some advice on how to do this?

Thank you for the help

Joe
  • Don't know how to do it....but it might be better to just get a whole assembly. Walt's RV in Corona has lots and lots of used windows, sure one will fit.
  • The last one I replaced was years ago, but the slider track was also a spacer. I had slide out both tracks and then the window pane could be removed.
  • Thanks for the advice but I'd rather pay 140.00 for a piece of custom cut glass than 300-600.00 for a window

I already have the pane being made prior to this posting:)
