slides won't work

2011 cougar maybe original battery, two slides, neither one will work not a sound, landing gear doesn't work but the house lights are bright. slides or landing gear won't work when connected to truck or 110 house elect. Would a bad battery cause this even connected to the 110 volt house elect? Is there a breaker or fuse for the slides and landing gear that would cause this? I'm back, everything is working. It was an inline 30 amp fuse in the storage area in front where the battery is located and up on the back wall of this area is an electrical panel. thanks for your help

sounds like you blew a fuse. look in the fuse box.

Big fuses aren't always in the breaker/fuse box. We have a 50 and 100 amp fuses in the basement in single fuse holders. One is for the slides, so check there.
  • Hydraulic or electric slides? If hydraulic check fluid level, it may appear to be full enough but if it drops too low it loses pressure. Add fluid to holding tank.
  • check the breaker switch at the converter.

Or near the slideout power relays. The breaker switches at the slideout relays are usually small black boxes about 1 inch long with micro switches on the bottom. Push in on the switch to reset the breaker. When you push on the switch you may or may not feel it click. Don't worry if you don't feel a click, the breaker should reset just by pushing on it. These do go bad from time to time.
