OK, I think you are talking about the plate required on the pin box? There are two types, as far as I know, a Pin Box specific plate, and a universal plate. If you have the universal plate you may get some "slop", and you can not over tighten it as it has a nylon "washer". Talk to your dealer, or get in touch with Pull right to get things straightened out! BTW, I "fixed" my universal plate by welding guides on the sides, keeps things nice and tight! Good luck.
