Had a Super Glide in our old set-up and really loved the hitch. I had NO complaints about any aspects of it. Tighten the jam-nut just snug enough to keep if from moving. It may need to be tightened periodically as the nylon bushing block wears. You've got a great hitch. FYI, my installer who has owned a hitch shop and been a Pullrite dealer for many years told me to use Slip-Plate dry graphite spray on the moving parts. It will not attract any dirt and grit. This was for the old SG's. Do not use it on newer ones with the plastic guides. WD40 is recommended.
