I love mine too.
The RV market is 100% ST tires. The percentage of the large RV that are running LT tire is fraction of one percent. Too small of number determine if they are successful of just falling through the reporting cracks.

Actual references to back your claim? ..First you say, RV market is 100% ST tires, then you contradict your own statement by saying LT tire's is a fraction of 1%..(can't be both), but again, I will figure you have references or a link to back what you just posted as fact? Just curious.
Good the see youโ€™ve not given up on bullying. The fraction of a percent is from consumer installed LT tires.
MM49

All I asked for was a link to prove out your statement. Where in my post was I "bullying".....oh, still no link....

The whole RV industry is being bombarded by substandard Chinese ST tires. Tire companies simply will not produce enough high quality tires for trailers to meet demand at a reasonable price.

For example, the Goodyear 124's will set you back $399 apiece--ridiculous.

The whole ST tire industry should be subject to U.S. Government performance standards, like the auto industry, or those tires should be prohibited.

I just get tired of reading (on RV forums) about RV's tires blowing when they've got little or no miles on them. And when tires blow, they take out fenders and siding causing substantial damage. It doesn't have to be this way.

The recall isn't for a Maxxis tire............ but a Vail Sport ST225/75D-15 load range D which is a old tech bias ply tire. If Vail Sport has a radial I assume its not in the recall

No problems with my GY Marathons. Stick with Maxxis or GY and you're problems will be greatly reduced. Problem is that the average buyer that doesn't read an RV site is at the mercy of the tire dealer and what they carry.

Good point . But as the mods don't seem to care for Maxxis posts, soon they won't be able to get the info here either.

Sometimes I think they just hate to seem some of us happy with our ST tire selection.

Eagle, thanks for posting. I appreciate all the info I can get and would be very happy to know this if I had these tires.

Typically, replacement tires chosen for necessity - replacing a failed tire on the roadside - will result in a tire not being registered. Unregistered tires will not get recall information from their manufacturer. Tires changed at home are seldom registered. Without sending in the registration forms an owner is outside of the information circle.

The reference in the original post above provides a point of contact for those seeking information about the recalled tires and how to file a claim.
