Tonneau cover use with a vented 5er tailgate??

Looking at getting a Tonneau cover, but the manufacturer says that the air turbulence will cause the cover to tear apart..not sure if the rep understood what I meant about the tailgate or the wind wil...

this is what I received from the mfg:

I would not recommend using the Lo Pro with that Tailgate.
This could cause too much wind to get under the vinyl and could cause that cover to come unlatched.
I will see if my engineers have any other options for this.
