Top 5 upgrades

To that list i have to add upgraded suspension, satellite TV and maybe a cell phone booster.

As mentioned upgraded suspension such as Mor/Ryde IS, Disc Brakes, and better tires if you have Made in China OEMs.

Before we took possession of our new FW, we had the one 12 volt battery changed out to two 6 volt golf cart batteries. Also had an additional flat screen TV installed in bedroom. Had a hitch installed on back of unit for a bike rack.

X2 also a air hitch

Added an electric fireplace/heater in the living area saves having to use the propane furnace
Step into bedroom area added hinge to make a storage compartment for flashlights and safety triangles
Uprgraded springs from 6000 to 8000lb and added ezflex equalizers
2 12v batteries for inverter and 2 for house batteries with switch to be able to use all for for house or inverter.

The disk brake conversion is worth every penny. In most instances we can't carry too much fuel. If you can get an exhaust brake for your truck like the Cummins has in the Rams it will be your best liked truck option. Those that don't have the exhaust brake don't think they need one; those that have one would not be without it. It is that impressive.

Have it all except the solar. The jury is still out on that one. Solar is expensive, only good in the sun, & many batterys can be had for the money.

Centerpoint Equaflex suspension, upgraded to 7 leaf springs, 5th Airborne pinbox, extra fuel tank in truck bed, 100gal freshwater capacity, single 4D AGM battery (may add another), 2kw inverter/multi stage charger, 13cu' side by side fridge, stove with oven, washer/dryer area set up as pantry make us all set us up nicely for dry camping in comfort.

We do about 150 nights & 15-20K miles a year on the road.

I would look into solar. You can add all the batteries you what, but you still have to be able to charge them.

? When I had my class A I purchased solar panel and trickle charger at HF and it was around $130! I installed it myself in a couple of hours, always kept the batteries topped off! Well worth the money, and the batteries I bought were a lot more than $130!
