And if you went to order a new F150 with all the towing goodies you will be in the same price range as a new 3/4 ton truck.. Not sure if it would even be worth it?

Nail on the head right there. By the time you option out a half ton with all the heavy towing and payload options, you may as well just buy a 3/4 ton cause they don't cost any more at that point and you get a lot more truck for your money.
