TPMS Systems

I'm looking at adding a TPMS system to my rig. Based on cost and performance I've narrowed it down the EEZ-Tire and the Tire-Traker models. Does anyone have experience with these two products.
As always thanks for the help!!

My BIL has the TST and I looked at it yesterday for the first time. The wheel sensors are HIDEOUS! Plus they stick out past the tires just waiting to be snapped off by rubbing a curb or snagging a bush.

Besides OEM in the tire types are there others that are not so bulbous?

I have heard good things about the TST system, but according to their website I can't use it with rubber valve stems. How big of an ordeal is it for me to switch out my current valve stems? I have a 2017 29.5 Jayco BHDS.

TST is a good system except for their excessive time for the monitor to notify you that it has lost contact with a sensor. It can take an hour for that to happen. Way too long.

I've had the TST TPMS for a few years now and am very happy with it. The cost was right and the sensors have worked great. The only problem I had was corrosion on my valve stems of my truck due to keeping them installed year-round. TST replaced the 4 sensors free of charge, and advised me to use dielectric grease on the new set. All good from there.

If you've ever wanted peace of mind when traveling, get these! Sort of like setting your alarm clock and phone alarm because you have an important meeting in the morning - better safe than sorry. A travel friend also has the TST TPMS and had a warning go off to alert of a flat tire before it came apart to do any damage to his 5W.

I have the head unit velcro'd on my console in a tactful and inconspicuous location. Turning it on and letting it sync w/ the sensors is part of my regular routine.

If the system is any good then I would think you would not know anything about customer service.

I've had zero problems with mine. But the rep will answer any question you have and will give you his personal cell number.

JMO, but if you have questions about the system, but no problems, and the questions are solved with a quick inquiry to the company, that equates to good customer service to me.

I've considered installing one as well. If (when) I do, I'm planning to have a tire shop swap my valve stems over to metal. I've read of some people just adding the monitor to the end of rubber valve stems with no problems. However, last year I was simply check tire pressure on my trailer prior to a trip and as I put on the gauge the stem wiggled a bit then started leaking air. That small bit of movement was just enough to let a crack spread and open. I had to pull the tire and get a new stem installed.

With that experience, I don't want to trust the weight of a TPMS sending unit wobbling on the end of a rubber valve stem. If I'm going to spend the money for a system, I'm going to get metal stems that I can be certain will handle the extra force.

For those that have the EEZ system, do you recommend getting the booster? I have a 42' 5th wheel and a F350 long box. I was wondering if the signal would be strong enough to cover that distance.

TireTracker here. I had one sensor that started throwing a false signal which was immediately replaced under their lifetime warranty.

Thank you all for your responses to my question about a "TPMS" and thank you fj12Ryder for the grammar lesson!
Didn't mean for it to be a grammar lesson. ๐Ÿ™‚ It just bothers me when I see "VIN number", "SSN number", "PIN number", etc. It's kind of like all these banks that have shortened their names to just letters: NASB Bank, which used to be North American Savings Bank, so now it's North American Savings Bank Bank. We have a local bank: United Missouri Bank which now is UMB Bank, United Missouri Bank Bank. Just stupid. There are lots of them and they irritate the heck out of me.

EEZ system here. Worked great and saved the day. I wouldnโ€™t go without a TPMS.
