TPMS
Do these things really work? Or are they like radar detectors, just lets you know your getting a ticket.

That's not what I meant. In the scenario of an instantaneous sidewall rupture, for instance, the failure has already occurred, so the TST gave no advanced warning. I threw a tread on the OEM General tire on my previous truck. The carcass was still holding air, so the TST was dead silent through the whole failure.
A TPMS has its place - that's why I have one - but it also has its limitations.
