TPMS

I have the internals on the trailer and the screw ons on the truck. I had the screw ons on the trailer leak (loosen slightly). They were also tmps. That hasn't happened with the ones purchased last year. My main reason for getting the internals is that I have had tire installers put the rubber stems in even though I insisted on metal. Once u install internals, you will have to make sure anyone working on the tire knows u have internal sensors. The won't expect them on a trailer tire.
Another reason is the tire balance..I have my trailer tires balanced. Although I believe the effects of the weight is minimal, I just feel better abt the internals (tire is balanced with the sensors installed). ?
