We went the bi-pod route years ago and weren't happy until we installed permanently installed aftermarket stabilizers. Even after we had Big Foot installed in 2009, which is a leveling system that does offer some stabilization, for us we still had unwanted movement and decided to keep using our stabilizers. This has worked very well for us for 8 years, Being fulltimers for 17 years, eliminating unwanted interior movement is extremely important. Di

The tripods don't seem to be all that effective. From what I've read here, the various stabilizing systems that pin to the jack stands, seem to work the best. The =best= is probably a 6-point hydraulic leveling system but they're costly and you can't always fit them on a specific trailer. If you're going to be set up for an extended time, then jack stands under the frame, 3-4 a side, are probably the best. Even then, you won't be rock steady.

X4 on Winfield's stabilizers. Still had some shaking after putting Eliminators on, so bit the bullet and added the Winfield's. Money well spent!

x3 on Winfield. Plus the bal rotochocks.

I carry two 6,000 lb ea. jack stands and place one on each side under the frame just forward of the wheels. I set them in place with the front high, then drop the front level which puts weight on the jack stands. Finally, I drop the rear stabilizers to complete the task. Works well. I do this only if parked for a week or more. My plan is to add hydraulic jacks to accomplish same . Hydraulic level system I would think, would accomplish same.
