Transitioning to a Fiver - Salem Hemispheres 368 RLBH

In the process of purchasing a Salem Hemispheres 368 RLBH. Really felt the floorplan suited our needs, and liked the idea of a mid-bunk, enclosed where all of the kids' stuff will be out of sight (out of mind...). Currently on maneuvers now, but should be finalizing the deal 23APR16. I will be trading in my 2014 KZ Spree Connect C290IKS. Great camper, but the Salem will suit us much better and wanted to off-load the KZ before the value plummets much more.

The dealership has provided a PO valuing the trade and an OTD price for the Salem. The value for the trade is what I figured, and I'm happy with the OTD price for the Salem (>$5k less than what CW stated was their "bottom line").

Of course the successful deal is contingent upon an satisfactory PDI, and the dealership clams they will complete their PDI prior to my arrival. So far the deal feels good.

Am I missing anything?

The only thing I can think of is, have you considered making a run on Craigslist to sell your current trailer? This is a popular time and there are a lot of people buying. Dealer trades are usually very low compared to what you can get selling private party.

The whole PDI thing is a bit overblown IMO. If/when you find little things with fit/finish wrong it usually results in some 20 year old kid grabbing a mallet or a saw and fixing it. No thanks.... I'll take care of it myself. Of course, mechanically things should work but keep in mind you have a warranty as well. I've bought two new trailers in the last 5 years and was shocked at how little the person doing the "teaching" knew.

The numbers working and you being happy are the most important things.
