- RustyJCExplorerNo, I wouldn't even consider it, but that's just me. Before putting them back there, you might want to ride in the 5th wheel yourself while it's in motion to see just what they would experience. It's not very pleasant.
Rusty - downtheroadExplorerOh boy, here we go. This topic always gets it "going"...and then gets closed.
Our dog is part of the family, she rides with us....just like the kids. - davosfamExplorerNo way. Would you let a person ride back there? Too stressful for the dogs. One of our dogs gets stressed riding in the back seat of our truck. ;)
- Jerry_BExplorerRusty, I have riden in my mobile suites with center point and trail air. Not bad at all.
- aguablancoExplorerAsk the wife to take a ride back there and see what she says.
RichH - Us_out_WestExplorerPlease....common sense says NO!!

Well, our Mobile Suites has the MorRyde independent suspension, but I still wouldn't put our Shelties back there. The back seat in our truck folds up and a flat load floor folds out that extends to the back of the front seats. We fold a comforter up covering the load floor, and our 2 Shelties plus our campground cat (in his carrier) sleep back there with their own A/C outlets and fan. They would freak out in a strange situation such as being in the 5th wheel with it in motion while separated from us.
Your choice, but I wouldn't even consider it.
Rusty - fj12ryderExplorer IIIJust depends on the pet. You'd need to ride back there with them a couple of times just to make sure the ride doesn't bother them. Also if they have problems en route you have no way of knowing about it. My wife has ridden in our fifth wheel and says it isn't bad. But she also had a way of communicating with me. Your pet may not be so lucky.

Well, since my wife also drives when we're towing, I'm waiting for the day that she and the animals ride in the truck and they relegate me to the 5th wheel.
