TV reception in new Fuzion

Mine came with a satellite prep package and they had the cabling all jacked up. Fortunately, in all my paperwork was a drawing of how it is supposed to be connected, if I didn't have that I would still be without TV today.

Although the reception is better with the directional antennas, I like the simplicity of a fixed omnidirectional antenna. Some of the locations where we camp, multiple broadcast towers are at different angles which would require moving the antenna between channel changes. If you have a Jensen model antenna, there are better omni's available.

My antenna is also in the bedroom, but the antenna booster is in the living room. AND, as you stated, they'll be light that will come on, showing it's energized.

You hear alot of these same complaints from the new trailer owners going to the low profile type none rotating omnidirectional type antennas.

Hard to beat the crank-up rotatable OTA BATWING antenna.

Picks up the digital High Def local town TV stations just great for us... The booster amplifier is in the antenna head and the 12VDC switch for power is on the antenna panel wall plate (PUSH ON or OFF)...

Same setup we have, works fine.

In most, if not all RV applications, that button is also a cabling switch between cable and antenna not just an amplifier. Must be "on" for antenna.

In my Fuzion the booster button is in the overhead cabinets in the bedroom.

You need to have one of these BATWING antennas....


Be sure to get the one with the UHF DIPOLES added to it...

You hear alot of these same complaints from the new trailer owners going to the low profile type none rotating omnidirectional type antennas.
