TV

I have a Jayco Fifth wheel. Just recently bought a King Satellite and have a direct tv standard box. I have everything working fine on the inside of the RV. I have a outlet on the outside of the RV where I can move the tv and am supposed to be able to watch tv outside as well. Does anyone know if I have to move the cable box outside or is there something elese I need to do. Thanks
  • Not sure where you mean you have a cable outlet on the outside of the Jayco. I had one in the storage area but the one on the rear outside was for cable or Satellite in, not out. If it is for an outside TV then you would need to move your receiver out there to see direct TV, that connection is back to the antenna.
  • If you are on satellite you will have to have a receiver whereever you put a different tv.

If you are hooked up to a cg's cable then any tv should work.
  • The "Output" connection from your Direct TV receiver must be connected to the TV "Input" connection. You'll need to figure out how to get a cable from your receiver connected to the outside TV.

If you have two receivers available, each one could be connected to each TV. If you go this way, two receivers, then you'll need two cables, one to each receiver, from the King Satellite.
  • Question? If you have satellite for your TV, why do you need a "cable box" at all? Perhaps you mean the satellite converter box? Just a thought.
