Question

after installing new fan and sealing front seam, I checked the screws one the rain gutter. most were loose and could not be tightened up. if I put in a longer screw they would tighten up ok. I want to seal the top of rail, should I replace all the screws, or is it needed.
should I put in something in the hole and then screw it in.

You can use a golf tee, insert it with a little bit of glue on it. Cut it off flush with the side of the RV and then pilot hole drill it.

Loose screws that won't tighten mean that water got into the holes. After repairing I would cover the heads with Dicor Lap Sealant.
