Water hose

Can anyone recommend a water hose that stays flexible during cooler temps. Right now I have the Camco water hose and when the temps get around 40 degrees or so, it is simply annoying to try to roll these hoses up for storage. Thanks

The hose ends are very heavy duty, not stamped brass. Gauge is liquid filled that won't freeze.

My Watts that I use now has an issue with the screen, I forgot to remove it for the winter and it froze ... darn me...

Check with RV Water Filter Store, they might be able to replace just the gauge. I had to do that a few years ago. In fact, I could probably do it again- mine is showing way low (like 20psi) when I know the pressure is higher. If I recall, it was something like $20-25.

Gonna try that... It's on my to-do list for now....:)

Stupid as it sounds, this really works https://www.amazon.com/s?k=stainless+steel+water+hose&crid=12XKFQMKXESC7&sprefix=stainless+steel+water++h%2Caps%2C260&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_23 .
Made like BX cable and has a very flexible (possibly silicon)liner.
Will hand coil easily in a 12 inch diameter coil. Personally used at +5F.

Forget but the gauge is filled with something special type of liquid.

I went with the brass ends, they are HD.

Howdy!

I have also been using Zero G hose for years now and I โ€˜m very pleased with it. I carry a couple of 25 footers.

Whoever said Zero G is spot on. I've had mine for several years and used it when camping in freezing weather. We unhook it, of course, when the temps are going below 32. As long as you don't let water freeze in it it will roll up, or fold up if you prefer, just as well as it does in warm weather. The neat thing is it takes up very little space. I had to order my 25' rv type but Lowe's has a 50' version that is drinking water safe. I have both.

I purchased the 90 brass fitting from them also.

Also purchased the 60psi adjustable WATTS regulator from them with the fittings included.

Not "CHEAP" but it will be the last hose you will ever buy! They have several lengths along with SS and Brass ends.

rvwaterfilterstore.com

They sell fittings, valves and pressure regulators and more. Going on 4 years of full time use.

here is a clicky

Ron, are they flexible? I too would like a hose that does not fight back when rolling up in cooler weather

YES they are flexible in cold weather also.

Some don't like the fact they are 1/2" ID but on a RV that really does not matter! I have plenty of volume.

Thanks for then clicky! That's beyond my pay grade.
