Wax

I need to get my Amazon cart total to $35 for free shipping, so I'm going to order some wax for our 5er. What should I get? Thanks.

Sorry but I have to respectfully disagree. I've used most of the waxes that have ever been on sale including Mcquires and Turtle for more than ten years and none of them hurt graphics.
IMHO It's the sun that does the damage, not wax.

This is after ten years of waxing once or twice a year.

The only place the graphics aged was on the front, where the sun hits it every afternoon. The rest are as good as the day they were installed.

McGuire's Marine Wax Liquid--- wax my 5th wheel once a year:)
  • I'm trying Protect All due to the excellent reviews it has gotten. It may not be the cheapest, but application requires minimal elbow grease. We just got back from a trip, and the camper was really dirty. After a good wash, I used Protect All on the exterior and it really did a good job of cleaning the dirty streaks that were around seams of doors, edge mouldings, etc. I won't be able to determine durability as my trailer is stored in a building year 'round except when we're on the road. But, it will be interesting to see how it holds up when we take our 6 week trip later this spring/summer.

  • Turtle Wax Liquid Ice, it is ez enough to do that I am more likely to actually wax the rig rather than just thinking about doing it.
  • Every winter I wax my HTT with a different brand of wax. My fav is Mothers California Gold. Does everything it claims though requires a bit more elbow grease than most. I find waxing the rig is a great way to extinguish any thought of buying a bigger rig. Atleast two coats. Wax on Wax off. Don't forget to breath.
