Waxing the fiver

Well, I leave a week from tomorrow for 3 weeks and it's time I start waxing.I can't leave with the truck and trailer dirty......
The curb side is now finished!!!!!!

  • Looks like your getting a real good shine. Someone already asked what your using and I would also like to know.

I'm working on the same project. Got the nose, rear cap and 1/2 of the roadside side finished. (started last Friday) Trailer sits mostly in the sun in backyard so only getting to work on in the evenings. I waxed when 1st purchased so it's been about 3 years. I'm using Maguire's cleaner wax and its taking off black marks and bug stains. Its liquid and taking some rubbing effort to put on and clean as much as I want but it is easy of and leaving a great shine. Randu
  • I started a few days ago , like Randu it sits in the sun so I have a small window of timing after work...
I started with cleaning the awnings this morning , then I took advantage of them being out and the shade so I jumped to it.

I use a wax called Viper , it is made by Ardex in Philadelphia... And 2 random orbital buffers one on and one off....
  • As we say back home......shines like a diamond in a goat's butt!!!! Nice job!!! rockin'
  • Maguires cleaner is amazing stuff. Last week my wife clipped the garage door jam and white paint on a black rig looks horrible. The cleaner took the latex paint off without much work. Now if would just fix the small ding.....;)
