Considering DEF didn't come out until 2011 model year, how come you were worried about it in 2006? :h
He may have meant DPF instead of DEF...I don't think DPF came out until 07-07.5 models. I had it on my 07.5 Chevy D/A. DEF wasn't even a consideration that I'm aware of in 06'.
