- mapguyExplorerJust don't use silicone based products as they cannot be easily touched up in the future.
I am an overkill guy - use 3M 4000 UV marine sealant on roof and sidewall applications. It is not self-leveling on the roof like one version of Dicor. - EyetattooExplorerCan you get Dicor or Proseal at any auto parts store or is it a online purchase? I dont have a RV store anywhere near me.

Interesting- I was actually on the roof of the TH yesterday replacing some molding and noted my white caulk has actually turned brown/black and shriveled up near the rear cap.
It happens with age.
Also check for sagging in some parts (another sign of age). - JIMNLINExplorer IIII like Dicor self leveling on the roof and Proseal on verticle surfaces.
Let google be your friend as their are several sealing products out here for keeping a RV water tight. Some even come with a how to do it you tube. - fly-boyExplorerInteresting- I was actually on the roof of the TH yesterday replacing some molding and noted my white caulk has actually turned brown/black and shriveled up near the rear cap.
Was thinking about rubbing the dark caulk out and replacing it with white. - EyetattooExplorer
