You can get the Fox Mountain 235 with a gen.
I just got back with our 2013 235 from a 3 night stay at Bend Garden Rv park. I've made a few mods to mine as I think it has some faults. The booth is uncomfortable so we replaced it with free standing table and chairs. The rear jack knife sofa is worse. Replaced it with two wall hugger recliners.
Added a 40" tv as well. We camp mostly dry until the weather turns a bit chilly/wet then we like the elec for the heated blanket at night.
It got down to 24* last night. We just ran one space heater in the living area and it was 52* inside. Had another heater but didn't use it. Furnace will run you out.
After 5 seasons of camping we've only had a couple probs that are barely worth mentioning. Everything works like day one except for the kitchen faucet and the bath faucet. Cheapo plasticky stuff. Replaced with units from Home Depot.
The new trailer life article is wrong on the CCC. It's closer to 4000 lbs. They're not subtracting the pin weight.
We tow it with a 12 Ram 2500 CTD. Not to sound redundant but I hardly know it's back there.
We looked at other larger 5ers but can't see losing money on ours and starting over again only to get another piece of furniture like a sofa or such that we wouldn't even use if it already had two recliners. The bath/bedroom area in ours is great for showering and changing clothes. Only drawback is storage for clothes. We've been out for 2 weeks straight and need a laundromat about that time anyhow.
Overall we're really pleased with the build quality. I read several other brand forums and we've never had 1/10th of the issues that most others seem to have.
