chevman PS I scrubbed all screw's square heads to remove the wax on the trim and remove d all of the years of waxing. Not a fun or fast job but I had time.
many other rv folks always told me how amazing it looked .
I was personally allowed to bask in the "GLOW" of the Alpenlight. It was truly a beautiful RV. - larry_barnhartExplorerPoli glow was made for marine use in the beginning.

many other rv folks always told me how amazing it looked . - FizzExplorerI use this stuff on my kayak, makes it super slick and you can glide 2-3 times further. Great for sneaking up on wildlife, a few hard paddles and glide in.
- JKJavelinExplorer IIIPoli Strip, Poli Prep, Poli Ox, I bought it all. Watched YouTube videos, followed directions...Looks ok for awhile when not in direct sunlight, but not what I expected.
- larry_barnhartExplorerthe surface has to be prepped for poly glow . I stripped the wax off our alpenlite and was going to start over but reading about poli glow made me change my mind. 3 wax jobs each year get ready old. Best thing I did was poly glow. replied each year but not a hard thing to do. In the sun it showed streaks when the sun was low in the sky. Many asked how do you keep a 2001 alpenlite looking so great. I saw another alpenlite couple do the red max pro so I warned them what would happen and the next winter it looked like a mess. chevman
- JKJavelinExplorer IIII've been using Poli Glow for about 3 years, and I'm disappointed. In some areas it flakes off, especially after heavy rain and have to reapply a couple times a year. I also get uneven coverage (streaky) when looking at it against direct sunlight. I have big patches of flaking right now. Looks horrible.
JK - laknoxNomadI first heard of this stuff for using on =tires= as it, supposedly, helps to put back some of the volatiles that are lost from the rubber. Various tire shine products actually pull the volatiles =out= to make the tires look better, but actually hurt tire life.
Lyle - larry_barnhartExplorerUsing poli glow on certain colors of decals the color can run so the fix is just apply a light amount going left to right. That will seal the color. Green on ours was a big issue but after 4 applications it was a WOW look. Easy job. Chevman
