Which LT tires have you been happy with?

I upgraded to 16" LT tires coming up on 7 years ago. They're 225/75/16 BFG Commercial T/A.

They've performed well and I'll probably end up with another set. I will also consider other options.

Having searched the forums,I've found a ton of discussion about switching to LTs but not much concerning brands.

What brand or models have you been happy with?

I went with Michelin XPS RIBS, one week after I bought my toyhauler. When the tire guy was mounting the new tires, he motioned me over and told me to compare the weights of the tires. The Michelin XPS RIBS were much heavier that the China ST tires I was dumping.

I've run both the Bridgestone Duravis and BFG Commercial T/A. The Duravis is a better tire, and on a 5'er with a 14K GVWR what I will keep running, but on a 10K rig the BFG's aren't bad.

Upgraded to Michelin Ribs and Bridgestone Duravis after BFG Commercial T/A left me with a sidewall delamination, Tread delamination and the newest one was recalled. Check out the weight of the TA vs the Ribs or Duravis for the same size - the more expensive tires weigh at least 10 lbs more.

Glad you haven't exeperienced the TA promblems I had and the rejected claim after my second BFG failure.

I upgraded to the Sailun S637 LT235/85R/16 LR G tire on our Gateway as soon as I got it home from the dealer. Very Heavy Duty 14 ply all steel belt commercial truck tire. Love them so far.

TAs, 4-1/2 yrs no problems, about 20k miles and no evidence of tread wear

Uniroyal laredo hd/h is the same as the bfg commercial t/a. I put three uniroyals and one bfg on last year. Happy with them so far.
