Patti retires August 28th and the 29th we are heading on a short trip to Reno/Sparks for the Rib Cook Off. We will spend 8 days and she wants to see how she likes a little extended time out in the rv.
As it stands now we will have the mortgage paid in November and neither of us really want another house payment anytime soon so we may be doing more trips, one big one being Spring Trainig. So wish us luck. Or wish Patti luck...

Eight days might be a little much if you are used to weekends. I'd rather see 4 - 5 days. Either way, after the trip go home to `rest' and plan as has been already suggested. We like at least a week between trips. We are bikers and always head for a location that has at least one bike trail to fulfill our interest. Yours will be something else. We also like to eat and enjoy seeking out home cooked meals in the various towns we bike thru.
Just some thoughts.

The trick is to go places interesting and stay busy so you don't get bored. When you get home from one trip, start planning the next one!
