Window screen clips broke. Where can i find these?

Hey, folks, I just replaced a section of floor and a few wall panels due to a roof leak in the large slide out of our 2000 Montana. When I reinstalled the window trim rings, I saw that the screen over the horizontal crank out windows was not seating correctly, so I pulled it out and cleaned it, then attempted to put it back in. I was having a difficult time figuring out exactly how those things were suposed to be positioned. So difficult that I managed to break them both.

I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me where i might find a few of these? I've spent the evening searching the web for them, but not finding anything like them. The screen is rectangular with no curved corners. I'd post a pic of the window, but it's down at our property, so I'll have to get back with that. But I do have a couple of the broken clips. Even if someone could tell me of a substitute that will work, I'd be happy with that. I'll get back on tomorrow evening with a picture of the actual window. Thanks for any help or ideas on this. Lee
  • You need to know the brand and model of the window. Once you have that it should be easy to find the parts you need. I have used https://www.pellandent.com/RV_Products_List.aspx?CategoryID=278 when I need parts.

Thank you, I will try them. I actually did try searching for the window brand for these and didn't have any luck. I guess the next step will be to contact Keystone and ask them for some help on this. Did those pictures show up on anyone's computer screen? It's showing that images were posted, but I'm not seeing them. Thanks again, Lee
  • Good morning Lee,
No, your pictures did not show up. We have an app, designed by our own Moderator 1492 that is a very simple to use and it results in pictures that will post and be properly sized for use in our forums. You can just click on this link to get started.

All you do in his app is upload your picture, copy the url that results, and paste it into your post. Do not add or subtract anything. Could not be simpler than that. Your picture will appear and be properly sized. You don't use the picture posting icon in the small boxes above the large dialog box at all.

Well, it's been aw while, but I contacted Keystone and they referred me to El Mountain RV. They sent me the wrong thing, but are still looking for it (I think).
I did finally realize the rear LR window, although bigger, has the same screen and clips, and I can now see their actual shape before broken, and how they're installed. The bottom is just slid into the frame interior into permanent clips. I'll try to repost the pics if I can. Thanks, Barney, for the pic info.
