In your experience what has been the problem when the TBC flashes Trailer wiring fault or trailer disconnect?

When mine did it, the terminals had built up oxidation. I got this:

in the trailer connector, pinch the jaws back together and used some electrical grease on blades in truck side of the plug. that's all I had to do on mine. I used 2 small flathead screwdrivers, needlenose pliers would probably work too.

Loose connection in the connector. It could be the adapter on the TV, the connector on the TV or the trailer.
