Wiring Ultra Fab Rear Stabilizer

Howdy,

I have a 2014 Forest River Vengeance 320A Super Sport 5th Wheel toy Hauler and plan on adding a rear electric stabilizer to it. I was wondering if any of you have done this and where your tapping in for the electrical hookup. I really don't want to have to run a line to the front battery compartment.

Thanks

Scott
  • Can't answer your question but my Crusader came with it. Lasted a few months. Woodruff key sheared and repair required a new motor and gear assembly. IMO, cheaply made and very light duty. I use an adapter in my cordless drill. Works quicker and quiter,
  • I'd run the wire to the battery. It could pull a few amps in the last seconds of operation once the load is really on it.

I've damaged mine on my TH and was looking at the wiring, I don't believe it's tied into the camper wiring, much like the front jacks, runs dedicated to the battery.

Thanks much for the feedback. Just ordered 60' of 12g wiring and will run it up to the front battery compartment.
