Yeah I would. My kids traveled in the back of our truck on every camping trip we took in the 80s, and 90s. Why? Because back then crew cabs were a rare breed, You never saw one. So when hooked to the trailer. The kids rode in the back. I did put a cover on it, and a boot between the cab, and cover. Until just recently. It was the accepted way to travel with the family, and I remember when I was young. The neighbor with a truck, would take all the kids riding in the summer to cool off. Great fun.
So yeah, I would.
