XLR Thunderbolt 385AMP, anyone seen one?

I hate to say it, but this trailer has given me the bug. It's the first 5th toy hauler in quite a while that seems to have been built for 2 people. And it has my wife and I very interested.

Anyone seen one? I cannot find any pictures on line at any dealer, etc.

Wondering if the execution is as good as the floorplan.
  • I still like the thought they put into this trailer. Unfortunately, they felt they had to put a window in the bedroom for 2015, moving the excellent clothes closet/tv/fireplace into the corner, making it much smaller.

If I was in the market, I would look for a 2014 model. I think the bedroom clothes closet layout is much better.
  • That is also my favorite 5th wheel and i really liked the size of the master suite and I only have 1 motor so it will please and be a great home for me. I can also carry my bikes and i really like the Murphy bed idea. I don,t have kids and i think it was designed for older people, and liked the idea of a porch with French Doors. When not in use the bed can be folded up and out of the way. Nice roof on which to put Solar Panels so generator doesn't have to be used so often. Can take grand kids on the summer vacation and they make a tent where the porch can be made into a extra room ... But best of all i get to take my motor with us....
  • I don't know if I've seen that particular one or not but I have seen the front living room arrangement and its nice. But I like a dedicated bedroom as well.
  • I noticed it's just for one bike, and that works for us.

I am glad they are making something that is not like every other toy hauler (made for 2 ATV's and 8 kids). They don't ALL have to meet the same multi-vehicle, multi-child requirement. I want a trailer first, toy hauler second.

I like FLR floor plans, as long as there is good seating across from the entertainment center.

This is the most innovative I have seen since the Keystone 3602rl.
  • Why would you want a slide in the cargo area...would be tough or nearly impossible to get 2 bikes in there but then I use them as toy haulers not for extra living space.
  • If you end up getting one, when you order you can specify to delete the Murphy bed and replace with a happi-jac bed that come down fron the ceiling. We did that in our XLR and it works well.
  • Call the factory, probably not even in production yet. Looks like a whole lot of wasted space in the kitchen area.
